01Who is responsible

Tahsildar is developed and published by Albovix. You can reach us at contact@albovix.com.

The app is a tool for keeping records about your clients. The names, phone numbers and amounts you type in are processed by you, on your own device, so for that data your office is the data controller under Turkey’s KVKK (Law No. 6698) and the EU GDPR. Albovix has no copy of it and no way to read it.

02What the app keeps on your phone

So that your ledger is still there the next time you open it, Tahsildar saves the following in its own private storage on the device:

If iCloud Backup or a computer backup is turned on, iOS may include this storage in your own device backup. That backup belongs to your Apple account; Albovix cannot access it.

03No network, no server

Tahsildar makes no network requests of its own. There is no Albovix account, no cloud sync, no analytics or advertising SDK and no crash reporter in the app. It works the same in airplane mode.

Data only leaves the app when you do something that hands it to another app or to iOS, as described in the next three sections.

04Notifications

Notifications are off when you install the app. iOS asks for notification permission only at the moment you switch them on in Tahsildar’s settings. If you decline, every other feature works as before.

Notifications are local: the app schedules them on the phone through iOS, and iOS shows them at the set time. No push service is used, the app does not register a device token, and no server is involved. The text of a notification is put together on the phone. Depending on your iOS notification settings it may be visible on the lock screen.

You can turn notifications off again in the app, or in iOS Settings → Notifications → Tahsildar.

05Excel and backup files

When you import from Excel or restore a backup, the app reads only the one file you select in the iOS file picker, and processes it on the device.

When you export to Excel or save a backup, the file is handed to the iOS share sheet. You choose where it goes (Files, iCloud Drive, email, another app) and that destination’s own terms apply. A backup is a plain JSON file containing your whole ledger, including client phone numbers and your IBAN, so store it somewhere only you can reach.

06WhatsApp and web links

The “Open in WhatsApp” button opens a wa.me link that contains your client’s phone number and the message you drafted. iOS passes that link to WhatsApp (or to your browser if WhatsApp is not installed). Nothing is sent until you press Send inside WhatsApp; from that point WhatsApp’s privacy policy applies. Tahsildar never sends a message by itself and has no connection to WhatsApp’s servers.

Links in the app to this page and to the support page open in your browser, which has its own privacy policy.

07Permissions

The only permission Tahsildar can ask for is notifications, and only after you turn them on. It does not use the camera, photos, microphone, contacts or location.

08Deleting your data

09Children

Tahsildar is a business tool and is not aimed at children. It collects no personal data from anyone, children included.

10Questions and requests

Write to contact@albovix.com with any privacy question or with a request under KVKK or GDPR (access, correction, deletion, objection). We answer within 30 days. Because the app sends us nothing, we normally hold no data about you from it; if you have emailed us, we can tell you what that email contains and delete it.

You can also complain to a supervisory authority: in Turkey the Personal Data Protection Authority (kvkk.gov.tr), in the EU the authority of your country.

11When this page changes

If a future version of Tahsildar changes anything described here, for example by adding a feature that uses the internet, this page is updated before that version is released and the date at the top is changed.
